There are over 200 species of bees in Iowa!

They pollinate most of our flowering plants and are invaluable to our ecosystem. "Solitary bees" live on their own, not in colonies with a queen like honey bees. Building a "bee hotel" to place in your yard is a great way to support your flora, and provided space for bees to thrive. 

The Workspace is partnering with the Entomology Club and to make these luxury homes for our buzzing friends. Drop in anytime but give yourself an hour to finish.
