Daily Parking Fees- effective July 1, 2011
- 1st half hour - 75¢
- 1st hour - $1.50
- 1 to 2 hours - $2.75
- 2 to 3 hours - $4.00
- 3 to 4 hours - $5.00
- 4 to 5 hours - $6.00
- 5 to 6 hours - $6.75
- 6 to 7 hours - $7.50
- more than 7 hours: 50¢ ea. add'l hour
- Maximum Daily Parking Fee (24 hours): $9.00
- Lost Ticket - $27.50
- Illegal exit fee - $50.00
- ISU Student Alumni Association member discount: One hour free parking from 5 p.m.- midnight (ticket must be validated at hotel desk)
Automated Pay Stations (pictured above, right)
- The MU parking ramp uses automated pay stations.

- There are no attendants regularly scheduled to be on duty in the parking ramp.
Hotel Parking
Hotel Memorial Union patrons may park free in the Memorial Union ramp by bringing their tickets to the Main Desk on second floor.

Permit Parking
A limited number of semester and annual permits are available.
Consider a Permit - Do the Math!
- A Semester Permit: if your average daily parking fee is $6.00 per visit (5 hours): in just 34 visits you will have PAID for the cost of a permit.
- An Annual Permit: for 52 weeks of unlimited parking - the permit cost works out to $9.11 per week for parking. Even if you only use 42 weeks, cost is just over $11.28 a week.
- Permits offer the advantages of access via proximity card so NO more tickets, NO stops at a pay location, and unlimited parking.

Hosted Event Parking
All vehicles are charged for parking, though conference, meeting or special event planners may arrange for various hosted parking options in advance of their event (ie. the host of the event pays for their guest's parking).
Hosted parking typically provides a second validation ticket to the patron, so that they do not have to stop at a pay location on their way out after an event and eases exiting from the ramp for your guests, though other options are also available. Validation tickets for use in the MU Ramp may be requested by event hosts whether their guest is attending an event in the MU or elsewhere on campus. The host of the event is only charged for tickets that are actually processed through the parking system - any unused tickets may be destroyed by the host after the event is over.
