Athari Leadership Experience Registration
Friday, May 18 - Sunday, May 20
Get ready, ISU students! Coming this summer is the Athari Global & International Student Leadership Experience! Join students from all over the world as we come together to learn about countries from across the globe. This three-day adventure includes learning about different cultures, how different countries view leadership, as well as having a great time at a beautiful retreat center.
The Sunstream Retreat Center offers comfortable cabins, a pool, zip-line adventures, rock climbing, and canoeing on the Des Moines river. Meet new people and develop your extended family right here at ISU by joining us on this fun and adventurous retreat!
The Athari Global & International Leadership Experience trains participants to take their ability to lead and work in teams to a whole new level. Athari participants receive live coaching and feedback that is designed to improve confidence, the ability to speak in public, and how to develop a “power mindset."
The word Athari means, “Impact” in Swahili. We chose this name for the Global & International Leadership Experience to demonstrate that we all have an “impact” on others, so we should more intentionally seek to have a positive impact on others and not leave our impact up to chance. Sometimes our intent does not always equal the impact we intended. The Athari Global & International Leadership Experience is about discovering our true potential to make a positive impact on others and people from around the globe. We hope you join us and discover the true ATHARI you can have on others. Come and be a part of Iowa State's Athari Global & International Leadership Experience.
At the retreat you will:
Learn how to create a new and powerful leadership mindset
Discover the secrets to motivate yourself and others
Unravel the mystery behind increasing your confidence instantly
Receive live coaching throughout the weekend
