Biography

Second Lieutenant Richard Harrison Sistine was born in 1896 and grew up in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He graduated from the two-year progrma at Iowa State College in 1916. He became a Second Lieutenant while serving in the Aviation Corps.

Richard died in a plane crash at Gerstner Field in Lake Charles, Louisiana on July 23, 1918.
