Biography

Private First Class Homer Griffin Roland was the son of Mr. M.O. Roland and friend of Mr. G.K. Swift of Harlan, Iowa. He was formerly of the Iowa State college class of 1917.

Homer was a member of Stars and Stripes, American Expeditionary Force.

He died of tuberculosis in Paris, France on December 24, 1918 and is buried at the American Military Cemetery in Suresnes, France.
