Biography

Private Ledru Harvey Hendrix was the brother of W. C. Hendrix. He came to Iowa State College from his hometown Letts, Iowa to study Animal Husbandry with the Class of 1911. Unfortunately, he left college.

During World War I, he served with Company L, 349th Infantry. He saw comabt in the Center Sector, Haute and Alsace.

He died of pneumonia on December 2, 1918, at Toulouse, France. His body was returned to Letts and buried on May 28, 1921.
