Biography

Second Lieutenant Byron J. Fisher was born to Guy and Ida Fisher on November 19, 1920. He grew up in Danbury, Iowa.

While at Iowa State College, Bryon studied Civil Engineering and was initiated into the Delta Sigma Nu fraternity on January 31, 1943.

Bryon left school to enter the Army Air Corps. He completed 16 missions with the 56th Fighter Squadron, 8th Air Force.

He died on March 18, 1945 during a training flight. Bryon was buried in the military cemetery at Cambridge, England.
