Biography

Year at ISU: 1944

First Lieutenant LaVerne Roy Breman was born on September 29, 1921 to Earl M. Breman and Millie M. Campfield. He had a sister named Sarah Breman.

LaVerne enlisted in April 1942 and left for service on February 19, 1943. He was killed in a plane crash while at Echenbach, Germany on March 10, 1945.

His citations inlcude the Distinguished Flying Cross, an Air Medal with four oak leaf clusters, a Purple Heart, a Silver Star, and a Presidential Citation.
