Priority of University-Related Activity
While the Memorial Union is generally open to non-commercial use by the public, use for non-university-related purposes must not substantially interfere with university activities. University-related activities, included the activities of Recognized Campus and Student Organizations, will be given priority.
Recognized Student Organizations
Recognized Student Organizations may reserve outdoor space and meeting rooms in the MU at no charge. If your event is open to the public, you must fill out an Event Authorization Form. This form must be submitted at least ten business days prior to your event.
Sponsored and Affiliated Student Organizations may request space for the Fall semester beginning the first Monday in April. These organizations may request space for the Spring semester beginning the first Monday in November.
Registered Student Organizations may request space for the Fall semester beginning the second Monday in April. These organizations may request space for the Spring semester beginning the second Monday in November.
