National Prisoner of War/Missing in Action Day

Today many students will walk through the Gold Star Hall to see members of the honor guard standing guard at a memorial display.  This is a tradition to remind students of the sacrifices of previous servicemen and women. This event happens every third Friday of September, a way that Detachment 250 commemorate National Prisoner of War/Missing in Action Day. This day is about honoring and remembering the men and women who have yet to return home from serving our country. All of Detachment 250 at the close of business will form on central campus to conduct a Retreat ceremony at the campus flag pole.
