Banner Request

Please submit this form to request the use of a banner location. This form is intended only for requests; it does not guarantee that the banner locations are available or reserved. The following states the guidelines for usage of display cases and banners:

  • Banner space may be reserved for up to a week.

  • Banner space is available in the west staircase and the south atrium of the Memorial Union.

  • Banners must be fabric or heavy vinyl and have eyelets along the top with which to hang the banner.

  • Banners must be picked up within two weeks after the ending reservation date or it will be discarded. If for some reason these deadlines cannot be met, the Event Management Office must be informed.

  • Student organizations must be recognized by the Student Engagement office for the current year. Student organizations have priority of this limited resource over university sponsored events. 

  • University sponsored events may be granted special permission for banner space during certain times of the year. 

Recognized student organizations may reserve banner space in the MU at no charge. Space is scheduled on a first come, first served basis. The Event Management Office reserves the right to deny a banner space request to violation of any of these policies and/or an unauthorized event.
