For close to 100 years, the Memorial Union (MU) has provided students and community members a place to host meetings, weddings, national speakers, amazing concerts, art classes, conferences and events. Located in the heart of campus, the MU brings students together. Through involvement outside the classroom, we help students find their sense of belonging by utilizing their voice, growing their leadership perspective, and providing meaningful and diverse interactions.

Originally built as a living memorial to hundreds of Iowa Staters who made the ultimate sacrifice, the MU provides students a second place to call home while attending college. We continue to work to make upgrades and the renovations needed to ensure that our 1.3 million annual visitors can enjoy the "living room of campus" for generations to come. Once a part of the Memorial Union, forever a true part of the Cyclone legacy.
